There are so many amazing things going on in my life at the moment. I’m working hard yet feeling fantastic and full of energy every morning when I wake up. Lately a lot of people have been asking me how I manage to juggle everything and still look fresh and vibrant.  To be honest with you I it down to self love, so I want to share with you my top 5 Things I’m Loving right now.

5 Things I'm Loving

1. Yoga

When you start yoga it’s not odd to hear ‘yoga is my drug’ by fellow yoga practices, well now that I have been doing yoga for 10 months it’s safe to say that yoga is my drug.  After spending years of training hard morning and night this year I made a big change and stopped training and instead started practicing Yoga. I have to say it has been one of the best things for my body ever – I now practice everyday!  No matter how busy I am or how many hours I work even if I can’t get to a class I make sure that I spend minimum 30 mins stretching, breathing and getting in touch with how my body feels.  Yoga has opened me up to a new lighter and stronger me. ‘Namaste’

2. Beach and Sunshine

How I start my day has a huge effect on how my day plays out.  Lucky for me I’m fortunate enough to live only a couple hundred meters from the beautiful beach here on the Gold Coast.  Every morning I dedicate 45mins to myself upon waking. I ride to the beach, swim, stretch and mediate in the morning sun.  I always feel at one when by the ocean, I love the sound of the waves, the sea air, the feeling of sand on my skin (I could go on for ages).

Here’s my morning ritual:
Wake up 5-5.30am
Make my Morning Kickstarter – Lemon warm water with Cayenne Pepper and Apple Cider Vinegar.
Ride to beach
10-15mints of breathing meditation
Swim
Stretch
Embrace the sun
= Ride Home feeling alive, thankful and ready to start the day all before 7am.

3. Broccoli Sprouts

This ones a little secret I’ve been wanting to share with you, Broccoli Sprout Powder.  Sounds odd I know but this superfood pack’s it all!  I take broccoli sprouts daily to add extra nutrients to my diet to help me stay super charged. Broccoli sprouts are nature’s uber super food and it’s becoming know as nature’s nutritional powerhouse! Broccoli sprouts are loaded with antioxidants, rich in vitamins, minerals and fibre, have generous amounts of folic acid and contain some of the highest levels of vitamins A and C of any food. Broccoli sprouts are a potent super nutrient which supports normal cell development and immune function.
But what makes broccoli sprouts truly special is that they produce a high amount of Sulforaphane – more than any other cruciferous vegetable and research has shown that Sulforaphane can be a key ingredient in the fight against cancer.  Pritty Cool hey!

Here’s how I use Broccoli Sprouts:
In all of my daily juices
Add to my home made salad dressings
Add to Eggs, omelettes or fritter’s
Basicaly can be added to anything you cook or eat. I don’t go a day without having a teaspoon.

Where can I get Broccoli Sprouts?  I get mine from Super Sprout – they are all organic, raw and pure powders. OZ grown too which is an awesome plus. It comes in powder form which makes it super easy to add into my juices or any other recipe, highly recommend this stuff! www.supersprout.com.au

4. Alkaline stick – water

Coming off my recent cleansing experience in Bali I’ve been making a conscious effort to keep my body as low in toxins and in an alkaline state as possible.  Drinking water everyday is essential and I have always been a water drinker but until recently I didn’t realize that the water I was drinking wasn’t actually at all good for me.  So I invested a huge $12.95 and brought a water Alkalizing stick.

These sticks control and regulate the pH level in water without using electric power. The sticks offer innumerable health benefits, as the stick helps in neutralizing acidity and other toxins in a water removing the heavy metals and chlorine. I’m always busy and this stick is so easy to use which makes it perfect for me – simply put it in water for up to 30 seconds and the PH will become 8.5-9.5, changing the tap water into ionized water on the go!  And the water tastes amazing good too.

5.  Nourishing with Food

I’ve always been a home chef – I do love cooking after all however these cook books have been a must have in my kitchen of late.  With all of the get together’s with family and friends I’ve been able to whip up some great tasty and deliciously healthy dishes with the guidance of these books.  So if you don’t have them I highly recommended them for not only good reads but yummy recipes too:

  2. Live Health Sweetly – Jessica Nazarali
  3. My Wholefood Pantry Philosophy – Wholesome Cook, Martyna Angell
