[Cycle Day 25 – Inner Autumn]
While a global pandemic effected many people in 2020 I was going through my own pandemic. From; breakdown, manipulation, to hives, a Kidney infection, heartbreak, anxiety, fear, pregnancy, and termination.
While I’m a coach, mentor and menstrual leader that does not mean I don’t also face hurdles. Yes, it’s OK to be both happy and sad, together and not together at the same time.
During the last quarter of 2020 I discovered I was pregnant after a traumatic relationship breakdown which ended in a pregnancy termination.
In this episode I’m doing something EXTREMELY vulnerable, sharing my abortion story.
I chose to share this story openly with you because I feel it’s a topic that IS NOT discussed or talked about enough and is often shunned or shamed.
May my journey through this episode guide, support and inspire other women. This episode will give you an insight into this aspect of my menstrual journey.
A heads up, this episode is very raw, open, vulnerable, unscripted and also a bit teary here and there too. I always knew this episode would never be easy to record, but I knew it needed to be shared.
