When an athlete gets injured, they are put on a re When an athlete gets injured, they are put on a recovery plan that ensures they take the proper amount of time and rehabilitation towards healing. Why is it not the same for women after giving birth?
It is discouraging for new moms to seek medical help with their postpartum struggles in a world that expects women to “bounce back” to their pre-pregnancy body, energy levels, sexual drive, and more.
In this episode, I am joined by Marcy Crouch (@thedowntheredoc) - Marcy holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy & has completed a women’s Health Residency program in Dallas, TX where she focused on all aspects of pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum musculoskeletal issues, and breast cancer rehabilitation.
In this conversation, Marcy talks about:
👶 the importance of pelvic floor health for women postpartum
👶 common challenges that women experience after giving birth
👶 what the optimal amount of time is between births
👶 an estimated timeline for recovery after giving birth
👶 how to know if you have a weak pelvic floor
👶 the connection between our pelvic floor and our menstrual cycle
👶 and so much more.
Marcy is passionate about spreading knowledge, resources, and support for women and the birthing community to make sure that the quality of care increases for women after giving birth.

For all those who love a reel with my man, this on For all those who love a reel with my man, this one’s for you.
Some fun facts about us;
We met online via a dating app
Our first date was at a coffee shop, I rode my bike and turned up barefoot
B had only just moved to the Gold Coast when we met, ours was the first date he went on
We started living together within 8 weeks of knowing each other
In our almost 2 years together we’ve had over 15 trips and spent close to a combined 7 months on the road together.
We both love the outdoors (if you can’t already tell)
Tacos are our favourite meal together
B loves to cook, I love his cooking
We’re both morning people, however B’s always up first
Both stubbornly independent
We laugh a lot!
We have no joke Wednesdays
We don’t own a TV
And we fiercely accept all the glory and challenges the journey of radical love presents.
Love is an interesting journey of challenge, passion, growth and transformation.
Here’s to trusting your intuition and heart ❤️

Planning on conceiving this year? 👶 This is su Planning on conceiving this year? 👶
This is such an exciting chapter while also potentially a difficult one for so many menstruators across the globe.
Save this post for your future self 📌
Here are my top healthy cycle pre-conception tips as a menstrual cycle and fertility educator 👇
1. Create space. Create space in your life, your heart, and your body. You can do this by saying No to things, opening up time in your schedule, cleaning up your body, and clearing space in your heart.
2. Communication. Regardless of how you plan on conceiving, communication is essential. Be it with a health care provider, a partner, or a donor. Doing so can support creating space as well as creating clarity for a healthy conception.
3. Support network. Create a support network. Friends, family, health care support, partner etc. This is essential for supporting your body both pre-conception and through conception too. Think acupuncturist, naturopath, fertility awareness coach, doctor.
4. Prenatal Multivitamin. I believe a prenatal is essential for all menstruators who desire a healthy cycle, not just “pre natal”. If you’re beginning or on the pre-conception journey start taking a prenatal. One that’s of high quality. FYI the store brought ones and the ones advertised or on sale aren’t of the highest quality. I personally use and recommend the prenatal in my bio link @wellsome_jemalee. (10% discount too)
5. Eat + Move. Lastly, eat and move with your cycle. If you haven’t been already, track your cycle and learn how to live more cyclically. Doing so supports your bodies ability to feel safe and supported, both essential elements of a healthy ovulation. I teach this inside my 5-day Love Your Cycle mini course, normally $29. Use code CYCLELOVE to Save 20% Off.

Do you find yourself suffering from brain fog, dep Do you find yourself suffering from brain fog, depression, extreme mood shifts, painful bloating, or other debilitating symptoms before you get your period? If so, you might have Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, aka PMDD. Many women suffer from undiagnosed PMDD but write off their symptoms as PMS - however it’s far more intense than PMS should ever be.
In this episode, I am joined by Dr. Lynne Racette, (@drlynnend) who is a Naturopathic Doctor, to talk about Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). Dr. Lynne suffered from severe symptoms leading up to her period and when she finally found relief after going to a Naturopathic Doctor, she knew that was the career she wanted to pursue.
In this conversation, Dr. Lynne talks about the difference between PMDD and PMS, common physical and mental symptoms of PMDD, the hormones that can cause PMDD, ways to support PMDD, the impact of nutrition and supplements, 5 tips that you can do to support PMDD immediately, and more.
