What do Yonis, belly’s, bums, brains, cycles and What do Yonis, belly’s, bums, brains, cycles and hormones all have in common? Uniqueness!! 🧜🏽‍♀️🧚🏼‍♀️🦹🏼‍♀️ Just the other day I was talking with a client about our beliefs around periods and our bodies when we start menstruation (teen/tween age). Oh so innocence at that age to think that we’re all the same. Or need to be the same. Remember those days?
Those times when we once thought that all bodies were to look the same.
Experience the same.
Feel the same.
Move the same. But as they say in Asia,
“Same same, but different” 👏🏼 Every aspect about you is unique. EVERY PART.
From the tips of your eyelashes, to your two front teeth, to the labia that creates the beautiful entrance of your Yoni.  To think we must have the same length #menstrualcycle , the same looking belly’s or a symmetrical face is old age thinking.  May this be the gentle reminder that we all need from time to time that;
You are unique!
Embrace your uniqueness,
Honour your differences,
And in each moment choose to shine as you are - rather than what we’re lead to believe we need to be. 🤍 Jem x Discover your own menstrual cycle uniqueness by cycle tracker with my Free #LoveYourCycle guide 📝 download and access videos via link in bio @wellsome_jemalee

Planning on switching to #naturalcontraception in Planning on switching to #naturalcontraception in 2021? ...but worried it might effect your sex life? It’s 100% possible to have both - great and a lot of sex when using natural contraception methods! Here’s 5 Different Natural Contraception Tracking methods you need to know about! 1. Rhythm method 〰️ Predicts ovulation based on the rhythm of your cycle. Most apps use this form, which to me is frustrating as it's accuracy is very off. 2. Sympto-Thermal method 📈 This is a fertility awareness-based method of family planning that observes the physiological signs of fertility to determine fertile and infertile phases of the menstrual cycle. 3. Basal Body Temperature (BBT) 🌡 A method in which you track your daily basal body temperature immediately after waking. 4. Vaginal sensations 😉 Important aspect of tracking is knowing how your yoni/vulva/vagina feels! Great to do alongside all methods of tracking. 5. Cervical Changes 🍩 not the most accurate way of tracking but can teach you A LOT about your Yoni. But which ones best for you? The best way to work this out is to get your #menstrualcycle assessed by a natural fertility teacher and cycle coach. Gaining one on one training specific to your body on how to apply the best natural contraception method to your cycle, for your goals - that does not effect your sex life! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Craving these insights?! 🙋🏼‍♀️

S U M M E R 2020/2021 Swipe ➡️ for my summer S U M M E R  2020/2021
Swipe ➡️ for my summer highlights. I start back full swing as “coach Jema” tomorrow but before I do lets reminisce on a transformative summer. For the first time in a really long time I’ve spent the festive season and summer at home (minus a couple of small Van trips 😉🚐) and I feel whole. 2020 wiped me for many reasons and one big reason you already know. And if you don’t, go listen to #WellWomanPoscast Episode 102 This was the first time in my life I felt lost, confused, like I had to run away, sad, disconnected and at times I wanted to give up on life in general.
Quit my job, change career, move cross country, you name it... it crossed my mind. But I didn’t. It’s easy to run away when things get challenging, hard, and feel fucked up. I mean when there’s a tiger what do we do?
RUN 😳
Or face it. Let me tell you facing it is uncomfortable. There’s tears, feelings of fear, loneliness, scarcity and lack.
But the longer one stares into cloudiness. Sits with it, allows it’s presence and embraces the uncomfortablility the sooner the clouds part and clarity arrives. It may take a week, month, year or decade but the sooner we face the challenge and embrace it whole heartedly (yes it’s uncomfortable as fuck) - the sooner we come home.
Home to ourselves. That’s what Summer 20/21 has been for me. A homecoming. There’s hundreds of images I’d love to share but these 10 snippets really highlight some favs.
Hikes, swims, bike rides, family time, van trips, best friends, art time, naps, reading, building, time offline and time to myself. I’m beyond grateful for all of these moments as it’s been in the simplicity of one foot in front of the other, being present and consistently turning up for myself that I’ve arrived home. Thank you for being part of this home coming. Your messages, emails and shares have also supported this.
Also a big shout out to 3 amazing women who have been lifeblood to me through this process. I love you
@jadekrause_ @michaelsjess @amber_hawken Also... I have some exciting 2021 announcements, plans and releases to come. Stay tuned.
Love and light
Jem 💛
Regardless of your cycle or contraception goals yo Regardless of your cycle or contraception goals you need to know how to read, determine and pin point your ovulation! 🥚 Ovulation, Everything You Need to Know! With @kaelyrd : Episode 103 🎙 Everyone’s talking about periods and menstruation... however what about #Ovulation? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Ovulation is a must know phase and point of our menstrual cycle however because there is so much emphasis placed on periods, including period tabooing. Ovulation is often left uneducated on at for all ages because it's often seen to be an element of importance for ‘fertility’ or pregnancy planning only. However this is far from it's only importance. A healthy ovulation is essential for a health menstruation and knowing this opens up a lot of opportunity for ovulation support. In this episode I'm joined my @kaelyrd to explore the importance ovulation and how we can establish a better healthy ovulation, regardless of our contraception goals. In this episode:
* How to know when you’re ovulating
* The importance of a healthy ovulation
* What you can do if you're not ovulating
* Essential nutrients for ovulation
* Physical movement to support ovulation
* What are the important ovulation hormones?
* Pre conception ovulation health

to conceive🤰🏼and
to avoid pregnancy 🙅‍♀️ Share in the comments 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 join me in putting it out there. Mine is to have my ovulation back in full swing post termination. 👏🏼👌🏼 And I’m using the natural contraception method I teach in coaching sessions as my chosen type of contraception. 😍 Regardless of your goals the most important aspect of your cycle to be able to successfully achieve either of these is being able to pin point your ovulation time and your own cycles fertile window. To support you in doing so, this week we're chatting EVERYTHING ovulation in our weekly newsletter and podcast. Cause let's face it, trying to pin point ovulation can be like finding a needle in a haystack 🤯 ESPECIALLY when you're strictly trying to avoid pregnancy. I’d love to her what your goals are.
Maybe they’re only yours or perhaps it’s a partnership goal for conceiving. Either way, share 💛👇🏼 #naturalfertility

Welcoming in the first bleed of 2021 in my period Welcoming in the first bleed of 2021 in my period undies like 💃🏼🩸🎶 Who else loves to move while they’re menstruating?🩸(Surely I’m not the only one) One of my favourite ways to honour the downward connected energy of menstruation and celebrate a new cycle is to dance. And given that if we didn’t have a calendar year and only relied on our cycles to count the year... (13 cycles at 28 days in length = 1 year) this would mark the celebration of New Years 2021 as I welcome in the first bleed of the new year. How will you celebrate your first bleed of 2021?
