I'm so sick of seeing this old age thinking being I'm so sick of seeing this old age thinking being thrown around.
First it was women in white on tampon ads in the 90's,
Then it was the well I can make the same money as non menstruators?
Then, anything you can lift, I can lift too at the gym..
You can work hard, well I can work even harder.
This is toxic.
Of course we can continue on with our lives while we menstruate but are we really suppose to push ourselves to go to the gym, run a marathon, work excessive hours, drink too much caffeine and forget about nutritious food?
I feel like a broken record when I say this but, it's THIS that is the toxic feminism that is forcing us out of our natural states while menstruating.
What if yes we could do anything, but we also chose not to.
Is that a choice too?
Of course it is.
It's images when on their own that encourage people to keep going to the gym and doing what we're told we 'have' to while we bleed, instead of embracing allowing, surrendering, slowing down.
And we wonder why we have more period and menstrual challenges than ever. I truly believe that it's this mentality of this image that is why menstruators won't/can't rest while they are menstruating.
What are your thoughts?

What if I was having a Girl??? Last weekend while What if I was having a Girl???
Last weekend while hosting the most delicious final in person multi day retreat with a divine group or women from all different parts of Australia.
Retreating as 2 (bub and I) was a very different and magical experience.
As we sat in our opening circle on Day 1 setting our intentions for the coming experience and forming our container together I had a deep reflection and realisation.
While I've known for sometime this work that I do is repairing, healing and nourishing to the red thread lineage that we each carry. It wasn't until sitting in this particular circle that I realised the extent of truth of this for me in my currently reality.
In that very moment while we connected our container together with audible sound, toning together…. It dropped in;
‘It could be a girl.’
And, if it was a girl, I would also have my grandchildren within me.
Meaning, in just one sitting I could be holding 3 generations together. Me, the potential little girl within me and the eggs that she has within her that she's been carrying herself since week 20 of pregnancy.
Pooooofffffff - talk about a light bulb moment.
The facts; a baby girl is born with egg cells (oocytes) in her ovaries that she will ovulate once she reaches Menarche. By the 5th month of pregnancy, the ovaries of a female fetous (hate that word so let's say baby) contain about 7 million oocytes. Most of the oocytes gradually waste away, leaving about 1 to 2 million present at birth.
While I've spoken of this connection with a physical lineage through our Mother line many times before, to be living it potentially, while also doing this deep awakening work with others was a full heart explosion.
That right there, is the healing!
Cyclical work is not just about you and your cycle as a menstruator, it's about those who may potentially be created through this life creating cycle that we live with for roughly 35-40 years.
Talk about a penny drop.
BUT... What if it's a boy?

What a magical ride of transformational healing & What a magical ride of transformational healing & awakening.
This past weekend I had the honour of hosting my last multi day retreat with the most inspiring group of menstruators.
These beautiful humans flew and journeyed from different parts of Australia to sit in circle and awaken the essence of what it means to truly be a cyclical woman. Living through the layers of cycles on cycles, and transforming through the imprints that answer why and what we do, and how we do it so far… all uncovers a deeper renew, rebirth and reconnection.
“I came to retreat to go deep within myself. To answer questions about my lineage, and why I am the way I am. To learn self-love, and full acceptance of myself as a whole.”
“Awaken for me has been deeply profound, and understanding myself and the women before me, but more so being able to speak about painful, difficult things, while having the time and space to explore what has come up and talk it through. The deeper understanding I now have of myself allows me to be more patient with my family and to come from a common loving place. It also introduced me to craft.
For me awake it was just what I needed in every way.” Cat 💫
While this may be may last holding of space and women as a Maiden. There’s a part deep within me that knows there will be future multi day circles and retreats… I just have no idea what that will look like nor what the birth portal will bring forward in my own rebirthing as Mother.
A huge shout out to our amazing chef who nourished us daily @wildharvestkitchen_ , my beautiful sister and friend for bring sound and vibration into our healing @_vibrant_me and my man B for airport pick ups, running errands and your forever ongoing support.
