(Subscribe on iTunesSpotify, StitcherSoundCloud or TuneIn) Do you celebrate the arrival of your bleed because it means you’re not pregnant? Or do you celebrate your bleed because of the rich gift of energy and nutrients it gives the world? In this episode of the Menstruation Mini-series we are honouring the gifts of motherhood and menstruation. My best friend, Amber Hawken, joins me in this episode to share her menstruation journey. Amber is a new mom and is adjusting to life with her cycle back. Prior to pregnancy, Amber’s relationship with her bleed shifted a lot throughout different stages of her life. From not even acknowledging her monthly bleed to now scheduling her work and personal life around it, Amber’s story is relatable and inspiring to learn from. Throughout this conversation, Amber shares the details of her first menstrual experience, what her menarche education was, different menstrual stories from her life, how pregnancy impacted her bleed, getting her bleed back after giving birth, and how she honours her bleed each month.

Meet Our Podcast Guest:

[Cycle Day 12 – Inner Summer] A speaker, writer and teacher. Amber is mostly, just boldly facetious and is one of my dearest friends. Amber is a conscious-driven human shaping conscious leaders and shifting cultures using mindfulness, meditation and mindset. On paper she’s a Diploma of Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, a qualified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, Deep State Re-Patterning Therapist and Yoga Teacher but above all she’s just a fricking amazing human.
