Almond Butter Bites
Ingredients:
Makes 15 Small Bites
1/3 coconut oil melted
¼ cup almond butter
2 tablespoons raw honey or maple syrup
Handful of cacao nibs
Handful of shredded coconut
Handful of frozen berries (I used raspberries)
Handful of macadamia nuts chopped
Method:
Mix coconut oil, almond spread and honey in a bowl. This is the base of your almond butter bark. Next, I mixed through cacao nibs, coconut, raspberries and macadamia nuts. But feel free to throw in whatever you have. Any kind of nut or berry is perfect. If you don’t have cacao nibs, cacao powder gives this bark a rich chocolate texture. Other good additions are sprouted buckwheat, acai powder, maqui powder or maca powder. You could also substitute peanut butter for the almond butter.
