(Subscribe on iTunesSpotify, StitcherSoundCloud or TuneIn) Do you actively work on your pelvic floor health? The pelvic floor is connected to our entire body and it is often where trauma and stress is stored. This tension creates uncomfortable and painful experiences during sex or yoni exploration and impacts how our body feels overall. In this episode, I am joined by the wonderful Caytlyn Dee to learn how to unlock this tension and connect to ourselves, our body, and increase our pleasure by working on our pelvic floor. After growing up in an abusive household, Caytlyn felt the horrible effects of the trauma she had stored in her pelvic floor and knew that there had to be a way to feel better. Now that she’s cracked the pelvic health code, Caytlyn is the founder and creator of Integrative Pelvic Care and offers online programs and in person retreats for women all over the world to heal their pelvic floors together. In this incredible conversation, Caytlyn talks about how the pelvic floor is connected to other parts of our body, our cycle, and the pelvic floor work that she recommends for listeners to get started with. She shares what the pelvic floor actually is, why we should all stop sucking in our stomachs, the unique connection between our throat and pelvis, what Integrative Pelvic Care consists of, how our pelvic health impacts our menstrual health, and so much more.
