How do you honour your bleed? Most menstruators throw their period products in the trash or pour their blood down the drain without a second thought. However, creating a sacred ritual with your menstrual blood can help you connect deeper to your cycle, fertility, spirituality, and body.
Chloe Skerlak is a passionate Fertility Awareness educator and Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner. She works with menstruators of all ages and at all stages of their cycle, supporting them, educating them, and teaching them how to live a vibrant cyclical life. Chloe’s rituals with her own menstrual blood are so beautiful and I hope our conversation inspires you to create your own menstrual cycle ritual that feels empowering and sacred.
In this episode, Chloe talks about how she feels during the different seasons of her cycle, what her Menarche experience was like, how a trip to Colombia taught her how sacred menstrual blood is, her favourite rituals with her blood, how she embraces and honours her menstrual time, and advice for other menstruators.
